What counts as “one window”? A single window opening is considered one window, even if it contains multiple sections of glass within the same frame. What are window panes? Window panes are the individual glass panels inside a window. Some windows have just one pane; others have two or more panes side-by-side within the same larger opening. Why does this matter? Pricing is based on the number of window openings, not the number of panes of glass.
